A propos de Ol Savannah
Salt marsh hoedowns rang out during the childhood years. Juggling church bells and wild urges to kill, Ol' Savannah started their music career in Baton Rouge's Ghostly Baptist Choir before being thrown up for burning God's creatures with magnifying glasses. Who threw them up you ask? The Lord himself within the open-air walls of his private vomitorium. Prior to this moment in time, Ol' Savannah was still of the primordial god-goo. They materialized with bits of corn and bits of beef stuck ever to their hair, writing songs of love and of loss, of joy and of despair, of life and of death. It's been a road well taken since them days of hymns and murders. They set out on foot, aided by the thumb, to Georgia's Stone Mountain with dreams of pickpocketing the over-sized tourists. Their successes enabled them to buy a couple train tickets and a new guitar. They kicked around Atlanta, Savannah, Athens, and some other town with a name, then set out West. From San Francisco Bay to Portland to Vancouver across the Prairies down to Detroit where the loot was on fire then on up and over to Montreal, Ol' Savannah shoots to kill and sing the sins away.
